Zimbabwe: Harare International Festival of the Arts (HIFA) 2018

CNN named it one of the top 7 music festivals in Africa, but HIFA more than just about music. It is an annual 6-day buffet of music, dance, theatre, spoken word, fashion, fine arts, workshops, crafts and, of course, food. 

HIFA brings together talent from Zimbabwe and across the world and during Zimbabwe’s toughest economic years over the last decade it became one of the symbols of Zimbabwe’s resilience and fortitude. 

The African Drift Team has attended HIFA many times over the years and it’s felt fresh, vibrant and artistically indulgent every single time.
